Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-19
1. What Gravadee does
Gravadee gives you one rental application you own. You answer the questions once, you choose what to verify, and you decide which landlord or property manager sees it. Gravadee is not a landlord, a broker, a lender, or a consumer reporting agency.
2. Your account
You agree to give accurate information about yourself, to keep your password private, and to use Gravadee only for your own rental applications. You can close your account and delete your data at any time from Data Privacy and Account Deletion.
3. Verifications you authorize
Gravadee only runs a check after you ask for it and give permission for that check:
- Photo ID check. Your government ID photo and selfie go to Stripe Identity, which confirms the document is genuine and matches your face. Gravadee keeps the result and your legal name — never the images.
- Income and residence checks. You connect your bank through Plaid. Gravadee reads only what it needs to confirm an income band, your address, and a rent-payment record. Exact pay amounts and account numbers are never stored.
Permission for a landlord to obtain a credit report or background check is separate. Gravadee does not provide those reports, and you grant that permission for one named recipient at the moment you share your application.
4. The verification fee
One fee of $30 opens a 90-day verification window. If a check can't be completed, the fee still applies and you can try again during the window at no extra charge. Each completed check can be rechecked once every 30 days; rechecks can't be requested early. Your account itself never expires and is always free to use.
5. Sharing
A share link expires after 90 days and you can revoke it at any time. You choose which fields a recipient sees. Once you send your application to someone, Gravadee cannot control what they do with the copy they received.
6. Privacy and your California rights (CPRA)
The privacy policy is part of these terms and explains what is collected, kept, and deleted. Gravadee does not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Under the California Privacy Rights Act you may ask to know what is held about you, correct it, delete it, limit the use of sensitive information, and opt out of any sale or sharing — and you will never be treated differently for exercising those rights. Every permission you give is recorded with its date and time and shown on your account page, and you can withdraw it there. To make a request, email hello@gravadee.com.
7. No guarantees about outcomes
Gravadee helps you present verified facts. It cannot promise a landlord will accept your application, and it is not responsible for a landlord's decision. The service is provided as is.
8. Changes and contact
If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be asked to accept the new version. Questions go to hello@gravadee.com.
